Brac Systems Sump and Pump Kit

The Brac Systems Sump and Pump Kit

Because the BRAC system relies on gravity for greywater to drain from your bath or shower into the inlet of the Brac System, owners with single level homes on a slab foundation (or other single-level structures) require this kit to pump the greywater up to the inlet of the Brac System. The sump is installed in the foundation or floor, below the level of the lowest drain you intend to capture greywater from. As greywater collects in the sump, a float-activated sump pump elevates the greywater to the inlet of the Brac System. Standard Plumbing Codes will permit a maximum of four (4) tubs/showers to be drained through the 2″ inlet port of the sump basin. Kit includes tank, lid, sump pump, pump manual, and two-year warranty.

If you require a larger capacity pump or sump, click here to view our LSP-300 Lift Station Pump with a 300 litre capacity and 4″ inlet.

New Greywater Recycling and Rainwater Capture Product Releases From Brac Systems

Brac Systems Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of four new products into its ever growing product line. Our R&D team has been extremely busy researching, designing, developing and testing new products to fill the gaps as we continue to explore and expand the greywater recycling market. The RGW-500/502 and the LB-300 Residential Greywater Recycling Systems were introduced to our dealer/distributor network within the past four weeks and are now being introduced to our customer base.

Brac Systems has now developed its very own super-concentrated blue dye, called BracBlue. It has been formulated from a safe, food-grade dye for use with the Brac Systems BDD-30 Blue Dye Dispensers. BracBlue can also be used to bring a natural blue appearance back to lakes, ponds and fountains. It will reduce sunlight penetration, therefore reduce algae growth.

Click here for the product sheet for the BracBlue.

Global Energy Forecast

Global Energy Forecast Foresees Large Jump in Demand by 2030

Worldwide demand for energy will increase by 44 percent in the next 20 years, with developing economies — particularly those in China, India, Brazil, and Russia — accounting for nearly 75 percent of the demand growth, according to a forecast from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). The agency predicts that oil will supply about 32 percent of the world’s energy needs by 2030 — down from about 36 percent today — and that wind and solar power will account for 11 percent of global energy supplies. The EIA forecast does not take into account the impact of a possible global agreement on reducing greenhouse gases. Without such an accord, global emissions of carbon dioxide are expected to rise by a third in the next 20 years, reaching 40 billion metric tons a year — a level that climate change scientists say would sharply increase temperatures and destabilize the global climate system. The EIA forecasts that oil prices will begin to rise next year as the global recession eases, hitting $110 a barrel by 2015 — nearly double the average 2009 price.

Atmospheric Water Generator Provides Infinite Water from Air

Maryland Green Power Co. has (2) demonstration unit Atmospheric Water Generators which we would like to sell immediately at wholesale cost.

Normally, you can only buy an Atmospheric Water Generator at wholesale if you buy a pallet, or a total of 4 AWG’s at a time.

However, one of our dealers would like to decrease inventory, so we are making a special deal. Note that one Atmospheric Water Generator is still in the box, and one has been opened and operated at the Howard County Green Expo for 1/2 day.
