Don't count on getting the Maryland State portion of the solar tax credit. Residents can still get the 30% Federal Solar Tax Credit, and possibly real estate tax deductions depending on what county you are located. Businesses are eligible for the 30% Federal Solar Tax Credit and a variety of other tax deductions, depending on many factors including location, compliance with LEED certification, Energy Star, etc. Maryland ran out of solar incentive fund in MEA's budget.
