Recycling ANY water into drinkable water

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

Before you ask “who needs to recycle a resource as plentiful as water?” watch the video to find out what is happening to the world’s supplies of clean, drinkable water. There are many places in the world which could use a device capable of distilling industrially polluted water into pure drinking water, especially one which is so flexible with regards to its power source that it can even use cow dung as fuel!

So far, not many of us in the United States need this, but…

Maybe we should all do something to prevent us from also running out of clean water - like conserving, or even recycling gray water. To find out more about local, practical ways of saving water, see the links below!

Green Homes Selling Better

Sellers offer “Green” Incentive Package to Buyers

Boca Raton, Florida (PRWEB) March 5, 2008 — With headlines reading “Home prices to post another decline in ‘08,” residential home sellers are between a rock and a hard place. In order to set their home apart from the 235 houses on the market in their price range in the Boca Raton, Florida area, Tara and Daniel Biller devised a “green home” incentive plan for potential buyers. They are offering buyers a slew of environmentally friendly upgrades and products including a solar water heater system.

“Tara and Daniel Biller are in the same situation as millions of American’s with a home to sell,” said Torm Martinson, broker/agent for Campbell & Rosemurgy Real Estate. “They’ve lowered their asking price, made home improvements and have been patient waiting for an offer - any offer.”

“We realized it was time to do something different to set our house apart,” commented Tara. “I’m in the process of starting up a residential ‘green home’ consulting service and I have been doing a lot of research on solar panels and outfitting the home with more environmentally friendly solutions. Daniel and I devised this plan to see if this would peak the interest of potential buyers.”

For those that are interested in learning more about the Biller’s home and the “green home” incentive package, please contact Torm Martinson at 561-504-6200, or torm@campbellandrosemurgy.com.

Liquid Air Creates Pure Drinking Water From Humid Air Almost Free

Maryland Green Power Co. now distributes a product which will reduce your dependence on bottled water, save you money, reduce plastic bottle waste, and dehumidify your room:

Liquid Air, a product which solves all these problems for businesses and residential consumers in an environmentally-friendly manner.

Now that bottled water companies are attempting to increase their profits by charging “fuel-surcharges” to their customers for water bottle delivery, Maryland Green Power Co. offers a solution which is both economical, and solves the plastic water bottle waste issue.

The Liquid Air device will supply 5 gallons of pure, filtered drinking water per day by removing humidity from the surrounding air, something Maryland has plenty of.

5 gallons of day from a bottled water supplier would cost about $ 160 per month, and create 30 plastic bottles per month of waste

The Liquid Air system can be leased for $ 122 per month, and does not use any bottles, which makes it more convenient to operate, and prevents the leaching of chemicals from the plastic water bottles which is possible with other systems.

In addition, Liquid Air reduces room humidity, which means the occupants will be comfortable with less air conditioning, saving even more money.

One unit creates 5 gallons per day indoors, and 2-3 times that amount outdoors, thus easily supplying up to 25 people in an office or school environment. The device is also perfect for hotels, fitness centers, colleges, resorts, etc.

Biological, chemical, industrial and physical waste has polluted our Earth’s ground water making the search for healthy drinking water a serious issue. Bottled water is not the solution.

A four year review of the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) found that 25% or more of all bottled water is really just Tap Water in a Bottle.

Compare to Other Water Sources

Of the plastic used to package the 6 billion gallons of bottled water sold in the United States each year, more than 80% of it ends up clogging landfills and littering the landscape and shoreline, spreading toxins into ground water and the ocean.
