Eligible System: Solar thermal, geothermal, biomass and methane recovery technologies produce energy in kilowatt equivalents.

Max. Incentive: Conversion factors for incentives that apply to these systems will be provided at the time rebates become available. Rebates for all systems are capped at a maximum of $33,000 (at 20 kilowatts capacity or greater) for each applicant site per program year.

Incentive: Photovoltaic and wind incentives are based on the combined system rating in kilowatt DC output.

• $3 for each of the first 3,000 installed watts of capacity
• $2 for each of the next 7,000 installed watts of capacity
• $1 for each of the next 10,000 installed watts of capacity

Eligible Renewable: Solar Water Heat, Solar Thermal Process Heat, PV.

Applicable Sectors: Individual residents, non-governmental organizations, businesses and private schools may apply.

MARYLAND

Eligible System: Solar PV maximum- 20 Kilowatts. Minimum sizes for both solar water heating and solar PV vary by sector.

Max. Incentive: Solar PV- $10,000; Solar Water Heating- $2,500.

Incentive: For photovoltaic property the lesser of $1.25 per watt of installed electricity generating capacity for the first 4000 watts; $1.00 per watt of installed electricity generating capacity for the 4001-8000 watts; and, $0.50 per watt of installed electricity generating capacity for the 8001-10000 watts with the maximum grant of $10,000.

Eligible Renewable: Solar Water Heat, Solar Thermal Process Heat, PV.

Applicable Sectors: Commercial, Residential, Nonprofit, Local Government.
